Created by Charlie Stewart-Brown, with over 20 years of yoga practice and over 10 years of teaching professionally, Indiv Yoga™ is a modern style of yoga based on traditional principles.
A blend of Sivananda, Vinyasa and Restorative yoga, the belief is that the benefits of yoga, meditation and mindfulness, can be applied to every type of individual. Indiv Yoga™ classes are structured and tailored to the individuals attending, their imbalances and objectives. It’s primary focus is diminishing the anxieties of modern day life in adults and children, by achieving physical and mental balance, to attain inner calm and strength.
Based on the teaching’s of Patanjali’s Eight Limbed Path, Indiv Yoga™ courses are based on 4 paths:
Indiv Yoga™ classes and courses do not have a rigid structure or set sequence. The poses, breathing exercises and meditations are dependent on those attending, and evolve with the objective of physical and mental balance.
Charlie has trained in yoga for all ages and abilities, including babies, special needs, elderly, pre/post natal, and predominately in anxiety disorders in adults and children. Her RYT200 Yoga Teacher Training Course is one of the most all-rounded yoga programs worldwide, producing teachers with a wide skill set for applying yoga to every type of individual.
Yoga has been helping me since I was 14 years old. It changed my life and gave me strength, calm and control in my lifelong battle with anxiety.
