Fight Anxiety with Yoga

Charlie specialises in Yoga and Mindfulness for anxiety and related disorders in adults and children.  Over the last few years she has been asked to talk at a number of organisations and events including the SGIS (Swiss Group of International Schools) on implementing Yoga and Mindfulness in daily life, the workplace, and in education.

Her expertise in this field has yielded very positive and beneficial results and one of her lifelong missions is to bring the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to those suffering from anxiety, and related disorders (panic attacks, social anxiety, depression, OCD, Body Dysmorphia, PTSD, ADHD, chronic stress, and General Anxiety Disorder).

Charlie was diagnosed with Anxiety and related disorders at the age of 13 where she grew up in Chelsea, London.  Reluctant to put her on medication, she was eventually ‘prescribed’ yoga as an alternative therapy. To this day she is thankful for and credits what she learned in those young years, for helping her.  A visit to a Buddhist temple at 15 years old introduced her to Zen meditation, the basis of Mindfulness, which has been proven to dissipate anxiety.  It is due to her personal experiences, and the changes she has seen in so many of her clients through yoga and mindfulness, that she dedicates herself daily to sharing these techniques and life changing skills to adults and children worldwide.

Charlie is lifelong member of Anxiety UK, a national charity helping adults and children with anxiety. She donates her time, energy and money to the cause and is a strong believer in the diminished use of medication by using yoga and mindfulness practices instead.

Charlie gives courses to individuals, groups and businesses, on her approach for controlling and dissipating anxiety. She also holds ‘Indiv Yoga™ & Mindfulness for anxiety’ workshops and retreats, and talks at organisations on the practical implementation of these techniques.
