Learn easy yoga & mindfulness techniques to handle stress, and create more balance in your day-to-day life. Charlie Stewart-Brown, founder of Indiv Yoga, will be holding 8 yoga and mindfulness sessions throughout the weekend, all of which are optional if you just feel like lying in or relaxing in the spa or in nature. Our weekend retreat is held in the Schloss Hotel & Spa, in the heart of Zermatt – a design boutique hotel boasting an indoor pool, saunas, hammams, gym and beautifully designed bedrooms. Zermatt is a quiet, luxury, car-free resort with stunning views of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains. This beautiful hotel and peaceful location are perfect for a mental & physical detox and we encourage you to leave your phone switched off!

The Schloss Hotel offers beautifully decorated bedrooms all with balconies, Jensen beds, tea/coffee machines, WIFI, television, radio and a safe. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, and most have a view of the Matterhorn.
All double rooms can be booked as twin beds or double bed.
Schloss Hotel serves a fully comprehensive buffet breakfast/brunch including a waffle station, vegan corner & fresh honeycomb! Dinner on Friday and Saturday are at restaurants within 5 mins walk from the hotel.

Charlie began practicing yoga over 25 years ago and has been teaching for over 12 years to people of all ages and abilities. She is the lead trainer on the Indiv Yoga RYT 200 hours & RCYT Kids Yoga Teacher Training Courses, having certified over 180 students worldwide. She is the voice of the ‘Yoga and Mindfulness Program’ on British Airways long-haul flights and has give a presentation at the Annual SGIS (Swiss Group of International Schools) Conference on the ‘Importance of Implementing Mindfulness in the Education System’. She also runs an exclusive yoga retreat every year which teaches people to apply simple principles of yoga and mindfulness in their everyday lives.
Over the years Charlie has worked with some of the most renowned yoga teachers around the world (David Swenson, Shiva Rea, Anne-Marie Newland, Leslie Kaminoff, Sadie Nardini, Sonia Sumar etc) certifying in Hatha, Sivanada, Ashtanga, Childrens and Family Yoga, Yoga for the Special Child, & Inner Engineering with Sadhguru. She has become highly respected for her successful work in yoga therapy, especially for Autism, ADHD and other behavioural and developmental syndromes. She has also talked at some of the biggest corporations in Switzerland and the annual SGIS (Swiss Group of International Schools) Conference on implementing Mindfulness in the work place and the education system.
Charlie holds the highest yoga qualifications as an ERYT500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), RCYT (Registered Children´s Yoga Teacher), RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) and YCEP (Yoga Continued Education Provider) with the Yoga Alliance, and has developed Indiv Yoga™ to bring a more physiological, therapeutic and individual approach to yoga and meditation. Indiv Yoga™ Switzerland is a RYS (registered yoga school) and RCYS (registered children’s yoga school) providing Yoga Alliance teacher training certifications of the highest professional standards.
